Mother's Day started early

Carter and Luke are always up to something, sometimes good, sometimes questionable.  They were whispering about something at dinner last night.  Luke kept talking about his check list.

Well, I found out what they were up to...

They woke up around 5:30 a.m. on Mother's Day to make me breakfast in bed.  Luke wrote on his list, what time he needed to wake up and some how his internal clock helped him to do he woke up Carter.  I just thought I heard one of them wake to use the bathroom.

They showed up a little later beside my bed.  They made breakfast.  Carter cut up strawberries and Luke made toast with blackberry jam, since that is my favorite, and butter.  And then they added some cracker sticks...some of the things on Luke's list.
Such sweetness, I appreciated the breakfast but I LOVED their thoughtfulness, going out of their way to do something special just for me.

Then I also had lots of letters and notes they made for me.  The rest of the day was filled with food and family!

that is so sweet! it's kind of fun as they are getting older, isn't it? getting to see them be PEOPLE that CARE?
