USA vs Brazil

A late night out to watch a soccer match, USA vs. Brazil.
Carter and Luke had on their new USA jerseys.  They were glued to the game.  Luke sat like this and would not take his eyes off the game.
USA lost 4-1.

On the farm for Mother's day

A little Mother's Day celebration, the Saturday before Mother's Day.

Great weather, great food and adorable kids.
Luke not letting go of his Hi-C...he could talk a mile a minute on Hi-C and his voice only gets higher and louder.
A good game of corn hole
An important talk with Great-Grandpa and Brayden

The fearsome twosome.  Luke and his cousin Brooklyn.  Hiding from the other children (that did not even know they were hiding).  I was walking behind them, listening, "That was fun!"  "We are fun!"  "Yep!"

Time to make the donuts

Donuts are one on my favorite foods.  My favorite phrase is "Hot Now" per Krispy Kreme, which thankfully does not have a location in NoVA because it could be the core of my diet.

A friend, who knows my love of donuts, gave us a donut maker.  Luke and I had a couple of hours all to ourselves so we made donuts.

Luke and I tasted a couple of the donuts and went upstairs. We came back down to find the cooling rack was empty and the dog had a powdered sugar face.

This year's Awana has been completed.
Lots of awards given and two very happy boys.  Boys that worked hard on their Awana.  Luke completed two books.  Carter finished his book and lots of extra credit.
To finish off the Awana year, a treat with Grandma and Papa for ice cream at Friendlys.
