VBS

Carter and Luke had a week of VBS at Purcellville Baptist Church.

They had a blast! Learning songs, Bible verses,...

Luke loved to sing the songs and get in to the motions.

The boys with their cousins all sporting their VBS shirts.

Swim, Swim, Swim

We loaded up the boys for a late afternoon dip in Jeremy's uncle's pool. They were kind enough to let us come over.

Carter and Luke loved it. Brayden...it took him awhile but then he really relaxed.

Jeremy, Carter and Luke wanted to race and race...we may need to work on the diving technique!

Sidewalk Chalk

Carter and Luke covered the driveway in sidewalk chalk.

Carter was taking his drawing seriously. A picture of our house; included the chimney (because mommy like to have fires) and even a bush. (I am not sure why this photo keeps loading sideways but you get the picture)

They also had to include the dog.

A Day on the Job

Luke spent an afternoon with his dad at work. It was such a thrill for him. From the hard hat to talking with the people at the job site...all cool.

Carter's last day of Kindergarten

The last day of school. Carter is done with kindergarten. I cannot believe it.

Carter loved every minute of it. He excelled with his reading and math. He just loves to learn.
He made some great friends and made the most of his kindergarten year.
The school had a Luau party for the afternoon. He came home hot and tired.

Soccer, Soccer

Carter and Luke had a blast playing soccer this spring. Despite the heat, humidity, tons of rain and bugs, they loved it. Jeremy coached Carter's team.

Carter takes soccer pretty seriously and wants to win. Luke smiles the entire time and just wants to have fun.

First Yearbook

Carter just came home with his first yearbook.
Waterford being a small school has a small yearbook. That did not stop him from pouring over every page of it, even Luke looked and looked through it.

On the bus, an older child told Carter all about getting people to sign his yearbook. He was so excited that he walked to his friends houses and packed it in his backpack to have people sign it on the bus.
The signatures are so cute!
