School Awards

Carter received 3 awards this year.
One for Physical Education (which several children get)
Social Studies - Virginia Studies (only one student receives this and this is because his teacher gave him a huge interest in learning history)
Citizenship Award (only one student receives this as well) - According to Carter this award means you treat people nicely, apologize quickly, and are not mean.

Luke received the Physical Education award for 2nd grade and he even got a phone call from the principal for showing great athletic prowess and sportsmanship.  Luke loved that he received this award in particular....shows he personality.
