It has been Carter and Luke's goal to go any amusement park. They love roller coasters (so do mom and dad). We surprised them with a day trip to Kings Dominion (Brayden stayed home with the nurse).
It was a perfect day, absolutely perfect. The weather was great and there was no crowd. We went on 15 roller coaster rides in about 3 hours. Sometimes we did not even have to get off the roller coaster.
The big ride of the day was the Intimidator. One of the tallest roller coasters in North America, as well as one of the faster gravity driven coasters. It goes 95 miles/hr and the first drop is at the 85 degree angle. It was intense. I, Carrie, even blacked out for the first part of the coaster...and I cannot recall a time that I have ever blacked out. Luke loved the coaster and Carter did not, however I think he was good with the fact that he tried it.
After that amount of roller coaster rides, we had to take it a little slower.
A really, really great time.
