A better place for the ATVs

Riding around the farm property.  Many paths, corn fields, the river.  Perfection.

A break from swimming in the pool, means time to ride the ATVs (especially when the boys just got their own).

BFG and POV

A favorite author Roald Dahl and Carter's favorite book BFG, Big Friendly Giant.  Carter read this several times when he was younger. The National Theater in DC put on a wonderfully adorable and funny production of BFG.

Then we headed to POV restaurant, a great view of many things in DC (White House and Luke more fascinated with the snipers, Washington Monument and many more).

On the way back to the car, we still had a little time so we popped in to the White House Visitor Center (amazingly the boys are still in love with history and actually enjoy these places).

Tennis Anyone?

One benefit of the rental house - it has a tennis court.  I finally got to teach the boys a little tennis.  For once they actually wanted to me on my team and not their dad's.

Oh the antics on the court...especially when your dad volunteers to be ball boy.
